On 2rd September 2019, School of Software held an orientation for our freshmen in Nanhai Campus Gymnasium. The orientation was presided over by Xinxv Wang the Deputy Party Secretary. We invited Tianfei Lin (Party Secretary), Biqing Zeng (Dean), Songshen Yu (Vice Dean of Research), Xinxv Wang (Deputy Party Secretary) and Huan Chen (Vice Dean of Foreign Affairs) to the orientation, as well as some middle-level cadres, student counselors and head teachers came to the venue.
At the beginning of the orientation, Biqing Zeng expressed a warm welcome to the freshmen of 2019 to join our family, and introducing the history, outlook and talents cultivation plans of the school of software. Afterwards, Tianfei Lin, Songshen Yu, Huan Chen and Xinxv Wang delivered speeches respectively.
And then Dr. Suyuan Shen gave advice for students on their campus life. Last but not the least, Jialin Rong who was the representative of new students shared his learning plan and point of views on software engineering studies.
