On 26th September 2019, the IntelliSense and Information Processing Research Team invited a delegation led by Chiefdata Lab Dr. Gang Wang to the School of Software for academic exchange. Teachers and postgraduates of the IntelliSense and Information Processing Research Team attended to academic seminar which was presided over by Professor Songsen Yu, vice dean of the School of Software.
Dr. Gang Wang introduced the application demand of digital economy industry in Zhuhai and even the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao greater bay area in big data research, as well as carrying out research on big data application innovation, data fusion and data computing acceleration. Then he introduces in detail theMulti-source heterogeneous data aggregation technology, GPU based acceleration in big data technology and data visualization technology.
Songsen Yu had in-depth exchanges and discussions with Dr. Gang Wang and other experts on the application of mobile big data, driverless cars and talent cultivation. The existing postgraduates consulted Dr. Gang Wang and other experts about the big data of water quality monitoring. They reached a consensus through academic exchange.
